If you want to earn money online, this is a great time to start. Not only do I no longer have to work my day job, but my online business doesn't take much time anymore either. I make my income passively from sources like YouTube, Google, and more.
You can start making all of your money from a blog, Youtube channel, or podcast in only a few years. It isn't easy, but it is realistic, and when I first started, I had a hard time believing it. People who create content and sell products online are such a large part of the economy that there is always room for more.
The best way to escape the rate race is to build up a passive income. When it gets to the point where your residual income is higher than your cost of living, you have achieved financial freedom.
If you make money from online tasks that you can automate, you will never have to work a 9-5 again. You will be able to choose between working for extra money and making money from online sources of income. Many people make a living this way - first, you build an online presence, and then you automate it, so the money keeps coming in whether you work or not.
Not everyone has to work a 9 to 5 job or is cut out for it. There are opportunities for people who want to start a business, work as a freelancer, or get a work-from-home position. You can go beyond that and make money passively without having to do any more work or manage any employees.
Some people manage to achieve financial freedom before old age by working a high-paying job, saving money, and then retiring. This is not for everyone.
Many smart and energetic people would not make good doctors, lawyers, or engineers or would not be happy with any of these professions. Many people are better off in the world of online content creation and sales, which is bigger than ever before.
If you can make an income online, you can mostly stop working before you are rich. You won't have to save a fortune and then call it quits. Instead, you will reach a point where you can maintain your income without much effort.
The dream is not only to work for yourself but to get to the point where you can make money without working. If you build an audience on the content outlet that's right for you, it doesn't have to be much work. Plus, with such a variety, you can do something you love. The traffic and attention you get from these efforts can create a passive income stream to set you onto financial freedom.
It takes time, but it can be done. If you build a profitable website, then you no longer have to work the way regular workers, freelancers, and business owners do. This sounds crazy to some people, myself included. Going on five years later, I can say it's true.
All workers make money by doing something others will pay them to do, from doctors to lawyers to factory workers and more. If you work to make money, then this can work for you.
I make money from selling things online. I use Youtube, E-mail lists, Websites, Blogs, and Podcasts to inform people about products they would be interested in buying. This happens because of the value I provide to educate others on things they may need.
Best of all, after I have already created the online content, it takes hardly any time for me to profit from it. I do not deal with inventory myself or create my own products. All I do is use the internet to educate people on products and services that may fit their needs.
You might assume that I am trying to sell you something right now. That is not what I am doing. I am already making plenty of money and only have to work a few hours a week to keep it coming in.
What I am interested in is spreading the word about these opportunities. A lot of people think that you have to work the usual 9-5. The goal is to remove your pay tied to your work time. There are more opportunities than ever before to make money online.
Don't assume you can get rich quickly without any effort. I am not claiming that. You will have to do the work, make mistakes, learn, and keep going despite setbacks.
However, after you do the work, you can start earning passive income. Once your sites are generating traffic and sales, the rest is easy.
While it took me almost five years to have a high income and a minimal workweek, it usually doesn't take that long. It's easier to do than it used to be because it's easier to find information about how to do it. Usually, it takes only three or five years.
You don't have to spend a lot of time choosing the perfect niche. Don't think you could never be an expert on anything. Pick a topic you like, learn a lot about it, and write about it - that's all you have to do.
Do everything fast, not slow. Working fast is easy; working hard is slow. Pick a niche - even if it's not the perfect niche - and build content about it. Done and imperfect is far better than not done at all.
What you need to do is become a helpful person. Create helpful content about products (or something else) and be more knowledgeable than other people who create content about the same topic. If your content is better, people will see you as an authoritative figure, and you can make a living that way.
Making money online is a skill that takes time to learn. If you have years worth of experience, making money online is no longer mysterious. The more work you have done already, the easier it gets.
Go with your gut instinct and start right away. Don't worry about whether you are getting started "the right way." Start now and don't worry about making mistakes.
You can become an expert on any subject in only a few hundred hours. That's one hour a day for a year. Even if you work a lot, you can still find an hour a day to learn about something in detail. It doesn't matter if "you aren't an expert at anything" - you can read about it until you become an expert.
Once you start making money online, your enthusiasm will go way up. It will become easy to keep making more money after you go beyond the learning phase and get to the building and profiting phase.
Make sure you have a blog. Even if your blog isn't the foundation of your online income, you still need one. Pick a topic, pick a domain name (make sure you have a great title), and have a niche you can happily write about.
Merely creating online content and profiting from it might not be enough to make you rich and free. To become truly successful, I had to develop automated systems to help me make even more money.
I am not the sort of entrepreneur who looks down on paid ads and claims to get all of his traffic from search engines. If you want to make a lot of money online, you will usually have to advertise.
Advertising saves you time - it isn't a waste of money. You want to make as much money in as little time as possible. You can make a fortune running the right ads and earning a huge return on investment.
Running ads usually isn't a good idea when you are just starting out. If you don't know what you are doing, you could lose money. However, once your business is up and going, and you have more money, you should learn the ad game.
The first thing you need to do in content marketing is to publish. If you aren't producing and publishing content, you aren't getting anywhere. Write blog posts, make videos, and record podcasts.
You need to get comfortable with publishing content on YouTube, Blogspot, SoundCloud, or whatever other platform you use. Find out what the best content format is for you. For me it is video, but you might be better of with text or audio.
The best way to get started might be to do a 90-day challenge. If you can make one video (even a fairly short one) every day for 90 days, it will become easy for you to create content.
The second stage is to build an E-Mail list. Start out with a free product, such as a guide you give away in exchange for people's e-mail addresses. Once you have that e-mail list, you can start working on a paid product.
After your business takes off, you need to start hiring assistants. If you are good at video, but not as good at writing, hire someone to turn your videos into blog posts. It is also easy to hire someone to turn your videos into blog posts.
This is where the fun begins. It doesn't matter if you have a podcast, a blog, a YouTube channel, or any other outlet. There are more ways than you can imagine right now to help you make money online.
If you have been thinking of starting a podcast, YouTube, blog, or anything else, you need to start. It takes time to grow and you wont figure out the right way to set everything up if you don't fail a few times along the way.
Like I said, my goal isn't to sell you anything. My businesses and niche websites make all the income I need. I have failed up, down, and side to side. Now that I am getting the hang of it and dialing in the process that anyone can follow, my goal is to help as many people as I can. The single greatest mistake you can make is not starting. After that, everything else will fall in line.
If I had never taken the leap of faith to start my podcast, which was the catalyst for several businesses I own, I would have never gotten to where I am. There are plenty of other examples of this in the world as well. Take action today.
